Blackberry Bread Pudding

I should have been raised in the South because I have always enjoyed bread pudding. Normally I make it with raisins, but we decided to use blackberries from our back yard. This is one of those guilty pleasures that your family will LOVE! You can also use raspberries or raisins if you prefer.

1½ loaves white bread ( cubed )
2 cups heavy cream
2 cups milk
1 C. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
4 C. blackberries
1 C. sugar
½ C. apple juice
Vanilla Sauce
1 cube butter
2½ T. flour
1½ C. heavy cream
¼ tsp. salt
? C. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
In a large bowl, combine cream, milk, sugar, egg and vanilla and beat until well combined. Add bread to cream mixture, Stir to coat well. Let bread sit in cream mixture for 30 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes ...

Pretty In Pink is pleasantly sweet with fruit, but also has a dose of protein too with peanut butter. I chose chunky peanut butter because I enjoy the additional texture, but use smooth if that's what you prefer.

Easy No-Knead Bread:
