Boiled Peanuts - Slow Cooked with Holiday Ingredients

This is a fun recipe to make Boiled Peanuts and keep them in the slow cooker under the "Keep Warm" settings. Your guests will enjoy a wonderful snacking item. Use all holiday ingredients like Star Anise, Cinnamon, Nutmeg and Vanilla Bean.

- 3 Cups of Jumbo Peanuts with Shells (Raw and unsalted)
- 4 tsp Sea Salt (or to taste)
- 1 Vanilla Bean or 3 drops of Vanilla Essence
- 3 Medium sized cinnamon sticks
- 5 cloves
- 2 pieces of Star Anise
- 1 tsp Freshly Ground Nutmeg
- 3 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar (optional)
- Water to fill your slow cooker (at least ¾ of the way)
- 4 tsp Sea Salt (or to taste)
- 1 Vanilla Bean or 3 drops of Vanilla Essence
- 3 Medium sized cinnamon sticks
- 5 cloves
- 2 pieces of Star Anise
- 1 tsp Freshly Ground Nutmeg
- 3 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar (optional)
- Water to fill your slow cooker (at least ¾ of the way)
- Fill the slow cooker with the water
- Add the salt and stir
- Add all the ingredients except the peanuts
- Start the slow cooker and let the water warm up on high for 30 minutes. Keep the lid closed...
