Chicken Teriyaki

This is such an easy meal to make; I don’t know why it’s not more consistently served in my house! :) All of the ingredients go into the crock pot in the morning and at dinner, you’re all set! I will warn you however, NOT TO OVERCOOK! I made the mistake the first time I made this, of cooking too long and the whole thing burnt to a crisp! I had to throw everything away and we ordered pizza that night.

2 chicken breasts
5-6 carrots
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
6 Tbls apple cider vinegar
3/4 tsp ground ginger
3/4 tsp minced garlic
1/4 tsp pepper
6 tsp cornstarch
4 tsp cold water
