Chili (my way)

Made from scratch chili, really easy to make, and it calls for a mix of spices instead of powdered chili.

1/2 onion
1/2 red bell pepper
2 garlic cloves
salt and pepper to taste
1 pound ground beef
1 can of cubed tomatoes
1 tbsp red pepper flakes
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 cup water
1 can of beans
1/4 cup cornmeal
