Creamy Avocado Pesto Pasta

A great vegan dish that combines two of my favorite things-avocado and pesto! A filling, yet healthy dinner recipe that everyone will love. You could even add some chicken or shrimp on top if you want some protein.

1/4 cup basil leaves
1.5 garlic cloves
1 medium avocado, pitted
1 tablespoon water
2 tablespoons olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
oregano to taste
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon lime juice
8 oz. whole wheat pasta
