Easy Bacon Carbonara
110
This recipe is quick, easy and really yummy. You can cook up bacon for this, but the pre-cooked REAL bacon pieces make this dish a breeze!
6
1 lb. spaghetti
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. milk
3 eggs beaten
1 tsp. minced garlic (2 cloves)
1 1/2 c. Italian blend cheese (parmesan, romano, mozzarella, etc.)
3/4 c. real bacon pieces (or 1 lb. bacon cooked and crumbled)
pepper to taste
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. milk
3 eggs beaten
1 tsp. minced garlic (2 cloves)
1 1/2 c. Italian blend cheese (parmesan, romano, mozzarella, etc.)
3/4 c. real bacon pieces (or 1 lb. bacon cooked and crumbled)
pepper to taste
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil and add pasta. Boil until al dente, about 8 - 10 minutes. Drain, return to pot and add butter. Heat milk in a small saucepan on medium, do not boil. Remove from heat and whisk in eggs and garlic, be careful to not let the eggs scramble. Add mixture to the pot with the pasta, return to heat at medium-low and stir in cheese and bacon. Stir for several minutes to let the sauce thicken and season with pepper.
