Gluten Free Spicy Sweet Potato Fries

Sweet potato fries with a kick! You can easily adjust the amount of spice to your liking. To make these gluten free, just be sure to use GF brand spices and you're set!

3 medium sweet potatoes, cut into thin strips
3 teaspoons olive oil
1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (use less if you want less kick)
1/4 teaspoon salt

Preheat oven to 425. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place cut sweet potatoes in a large bowl and toss with olive oil.
In a separate bowl, stir together brown sugar and spices. Sprinkle spice mixture over cut sweet potatoes and toss to coat.
Bake for 25-35 minutes or until fries are lightly browned and crisp. Flip fries halfway through baking time.
Serve immediately.
