A fall favorite! Healthy and easy, this soup hits the spot on a cool day.

2 teaspoons olive oil
1 cup chopped onion
5 stalks celery, chopped
2 tablespoons garlic, minced
1 can diced tomatoes, undrained
6 cups water
3 teaspoons chicken bouillon
3 cups V-8 juice
1 lb carrots, chopped
1/2 of 1 small cabbage, chopped
1 can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 can corn, drained
1 tablespoon dried parsley
2 bay leaves
2 teaspoons dried basil
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon Montreal steak seasoning
1 cup small pasta, uncooked
