Hot Pepper Butter
125
There are lots of things to do with hot pepper. Why not make it into butter and spread it on your favorite bread?
8
½ cup seeded and chopped hot pepper
1 tablespoon honey mustard
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1/2 tablespoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoon flour
2 tablespoon water
1 tablespoon honey mustard
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1/2 tablespoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoon flour
2 tablespoon water
Put hot peppers in a food processor and grind.
Mix hot peppers with honey mustard, apple cider vinegar, sugar and salt.
Put the hot pepper mixture in a small pot and bring to a boil.
Make a paste with flour and water and add to boiling mixture and simmer for about 3 minutes, stirring. If the mixture is too sticky, just add a little more vinegar or water.
Serve or pour into jars and refrigerate.
Use with bread or sandwich like you would use regular butter.
