For the chicken
30 cloves garlic, peeled and roughly chopped
1/4 cup Gochugaru korean chili flakes
4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
4 tablespoons plain greek yogurt
8 pieces chicken thighs, bone-in

For the peppers
20 pieces mini sweet peppers
3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil plus 1 tablespoon for seasoning the peppers
2 teaspoons, plus more for garnish fresh oregano, chopped keep some leaves whole for garnish

salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
