Lime Paletas Popsicles

One of my childhood memories in Mexico was of the Paleta man (Popsicle man) ringing his bell and pushing his cart, selling delicious Paletas. Mexican paletas aren't just popsicles, they are made with fresh fruit and when you bite into them, it's like biting into the fruit itself...but way better. I love making paletas all year round, but especially in the summer time. If I was to pick an all time favorite it would be a Paleta de Limon, or a Lime Paleta (Popsicle).

Ingredients
2 cups water
? cup sugar
3 (1-inch) strips of lime zest
¾ cup freshly squeezed lime juice
2 Tbsp.Lemon-lime Kool-aid powder mixed with sugar (Optional: If you don't want them as tart mix in step 1.)
