Lumpiang Shanghai (Filipino Spring Rolls)

Lumpiang Shanghai is our very own Filipino version of spring rolls. What is the difference, you might ask. Well, the main difference is that, it has more meat that vegetables in it unlike the other kinds of lumpia or spring rolls.

300 g ground pork
1 medium carrot, cut into small cubes
½ green bell pepper, cut into small cubes
1 medium onion, chopped
1 stalk celery or parsley (optional)
½ cup flour
1 egg
½ Tbsp salt
½ tsp ground pepper
12-15pcs Spring roll wrapper
1 Tbsp flour dissolved in 3 Tbsp water
1 medium carrot, cut into small cubes

½ cup flour
1 egg
½ Tbsp salt
½ tsp ground pepper
12-15pcs Spring roll wrapper
1 Tbsp flour dissolved in 3 Tbsp water
Combine all ingredients, except the last two, together in a big bowl.
Mix well using hand. Set aside, covered, for at least 30 minutes.
