A protein infused Gluten Free/Dairy Free version of Fig Newtons!

1.5 C GF oat flour
2 scoops vanilla protein ( I used Perfect Fit)
1/4 C coconut sugar/brown sugar OR 2 tbsp stevia
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp. of cinnamon
1 Tbsp. maple syrup
2 Egg Whites
2 Tbsp Apple Sauce
4 tbsp. coconut oil or coconut butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Filling
1 cup chopped dates
tbsp maple syrup
1 cup warm water
1 tsp. lemon juice
