Do you like Apple Butter? Give it this fall twist by adding that special flavor everyone loves -- pumpkin! Pumpkin-Apple Butter tastes delicious on apple slices, toast, bagels (especially Cinnamon Swirl), English Muffins, bananas, graham crackers, and much more!

5 lbs. red apples (or any kind you like - Pink Crisps are especially delicious)
1/4 cup cinnamon
2 - 15-oz. cans 100% pure pumpkin (I used Libby's)
1 cup dark brown sugar
1 tsp. salt

Simply peel, core, and dice the apples. Put all of the apples, plus half the cinnamon in the crock pot. Cook on high for 6 hours, stirring occasionally.
