Silken Tofu with Three Sauces

Tofu not only makes good appetizers, but also great dessert. But only the silken ones work well for this recipe.

1/2 pound silken tofu
2 tablespoon brown sugar
3/8 cup water
½ teaspoon freshly grated ginger
1 tablespoon peanut butter
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 tablespoon strawberry jam
½ tablespoon cacao powder
1 teaspoon maple syrup

Prepare three small dessert bowl, put few spoonful of silken tofu in each.
Ginger Sauce: Mix brown sugar, 3½ tablespoon water and grated ginger. Cook over low heat until sugar is melt.
Peanut Sauce: Mix peanut butter, 1 tablespoon maple syrup and 1½ tablespoon water in a small blender. Add more water if too sweet or thick. Add more syrup if not sweet enough. Add more peanut butter to make it thicker.
Strawberry Sauce: Mix strawberry jam, cacao powder, 1 teaspoon maple syrup, and 1 tablespoon water. Use a blender or mix in a bowl using a spoon.
To serve, pour over the tofu and garnish with ginger, peanut, strawberry jam.
