Spicy Tomato and Pepper Chutney. Takes less than an hour to make. Can and freeze extra to have on hand.

2 medium tomatoes
2 roma tomatoes
2 green Italian peppers
2 Serrano peppers
2 teaspoons sugar
? teaspoon pepper
? teaspoon red pepper flakes
? teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
