Sun-drie d Tomato Cheese balls

Bacon-coated mini cheese balls. Perfect pot-luck dish.

12 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 cups (8 oz.) shredded shard cheddar cheese
1/4 cup finely chopped oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes
1/4 cup chopped olives
1 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 package Morning Star Farms Veggie Bacon Strips
Assorted crackers
1. In a large bowl, beat the first nine ingredients until blended. 2. Shape into balls. 3. Place bacon into a small shallow dish; roll cheese balls in bacon. Refrigerate for at least one hour. Serve with crackers.

Marinated Taro Root

A marinated snack that can be used to replace late night bad habit cravings!

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
