Sweet Corn and Gongura(Kenaf leaves) Rice

Simple, easy and delicious rice recipe with sweet corn ,gongura (Kenaf leaves) and whole Indian spices. Corn rice is a nice variation to good old pulav recipe and corn is always my children's favorite rice dish as well as for my hubby because of its appealing looks and delicious taste.Try it, its really simple and it will surely came out well.

1 cup Long basmati rice cooked,
3/4 cup fresh Sweet Corn cooked,
1 small size carrot finely chopped into small pieces,
2/3 beans chopped into small pieces,
3 small piece of Bay Leaf,
4 small pieces of Cinnamon Stick,
4 Cloves,
2 teaspoons Ginger-Garlic paste,
2 Green Chilies, sliced into very small pieces,
1/4 teaspoon GaramMasala Powder,
Salt to taste,
1 teaspoon tasting salt ,
2 tablespoon Butter or Ghee,
1 tablespoon Oil,
1/4 tablespoon soamp,
2 tablespoons Gongura paste,
2 tablespoons pudina leaves,
2 tablespoons finely chopped Coriander Leaves, for garnishing
Heat butter and oil in a pan over medium flame. Add bay leaf, cinnamon stick and cloves and allow cloves to crackle later add soamp. Add ginger-garlic paste and fry for about 40 seconds and add green chilli slices ,carrot pieces and beans pieces fry for a minute and tasting salt and little bit salt and cook in medium flame. Add chopped coriander leaves and pudina leaves into pan and fry for 30 seconds. Add boiled sweet corn to this and fry for 2 more minutes. Add garam masla powder to this and add Gongura(Kenaf leaves) paste and salt to taste as required and fry for 40 seconds. Later add cooked rice to this and mix well to absorb masala with rice.Once it is done add coriander leaves to this as garnishing and check salt,if require add salt to one desired taste and ready to serve.
