1 bell pepper diced (I usually use green)
1-3 jalapeno peppers minced (depends on how spicy you like it)
1/2 vidalia onion diced
1 can red kidney beans
1 can black kidney beans
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
1 package firm tofu
1-2 tsp chili powder (to taste)
1-2 teaspoons cayenne pepper (to taste)
dash cumin powder
salt (I put a lot because I have low blood pressure)
dash black pepper
olive oil

3 slices thick cut bacon
1 small Vidalia onion
2 cloves garlic
2 15.5 oz cans diced tomatoes
1 T sugar
2 t fresh thyme leaves
1 dried bay leaf
1/2 t apple cider vinegar
