Volcanoes, or Vampires as they are known in some parts of Mexico, is an authentic recipe that is consumed mainly in the central part of Mexico and up. The name comes from the fact that all of the ingredients are placed on top of the tortillas and look kind of like a “Volcano” and the result is an explosion of delicious flavors. This dish is another version of tacos, because the ingredients and toppings are almost the same, except the tortilla is not soft, but rather tostada-style.

1 Pound of Steak (I use flank steak)
1/2 onion, finely chopped.
1/2 bunch of Cilantro, finely chopped.
Salsa Verde
Grated Cheese (I use mozzarella)
Corn Tortillas (You can use pre-made tostadas if you want)
Salt, Pepper, Cumin, Garlic Powder, and Worcestershire Sauce for the Carne Asada
1/4 Cup of Coca-Cola (Optional)

Combine the Worcestershire Sauce, the Coca Cola, the Salt, Pepper, Cumin, and Garlic Powder and Marinate the Steak in that mixture for at least 1/2 hour.
