Watercress Banana Sorbet

52

A greenish and sorbet based on veggies and fruits!

1
1 banana
1 ounce watercress
1/8 green bell pepper
1 cherry (optional)
1 tablespoon orange juice (optional)
Save 1 leaf of watercress for garnish. Make a cut on the cherry and remove the seed; do not cut through. Put the watercress stem inside the cherry, leaving the leaf outside. Peel and cut the banana into segments. Put banana, green bell pepper and watercress in a blender and blend until well mixed. Put in a freeze-proof container and freeze for at least one hour. (During the process, you may want to chop the sorbet with a fork few times, then continue to freeze it. This would make it easier to shape the sorbet when you are ready to eat it.) Take out the sorbet from the freezer, use a spoon or ice cream scoop to make it into a ball-shape, and put it in a serving plate. If the sorbet is still soft, simply put it back in the freezer and wait a little longer. Pour orange juice around the sorbet. Garnish with prepared cherry.
