These Amish No Bake Cookies are a rich combination of chocolate, peanut butter, and oats -- and there's no need to turn on your oven!

½ cup (1 stick) butter

½ cup milk

2 cups sugar

1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

¼ teaspoon salt

4 cups quick oats

½ cup peanut butter
Line a large baking sheet with wax paper and set aside. Combine butter, milk, sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil, whisking as the mixture comes to a boil....

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
