Cranberry orange sauce

This quick cranberry orange sauce adds a sweet tang to any meat dish.

12oz fresh cranberries, washed and sorted for mushy or bad ones
1 cup fine sugar
1 teaspoon fresh orange zest from
1 cup fresh orange juice
