Easy, Delicious Cornbread Cassorole

It may sound a little weird, but it is delicious! Its one of my favorite foods from my two years living in the south! It is especially good with cooked ham or fried chicken!

1/2 cup butter, melted
2 eggs,
1 (8.5 ounce) package dry corn bread mix
1 (15 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
1 (14.75 ounce) can creamed corn
1 cup sour cream
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. 2. In a medium bowl, combine ingredients. Stir until the mixture is consistent. 3. Pour the mixture into a greased 9x9 pan. 4. Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown on top.

Marinated Taro Root

A marinated snack that can be used to replace late night bad habit cravings!

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
