Savory & Healthy Onion Rings Make these using a dehydrator or conventional oven

Seasonings optional
Slice onions using a slicer or mandolin. You want to slice them as thin as possible. This will help with the drying time. Place on dehydrator trays for 12-24 hours. Store in container. Place a few saltine crackers in with the onion rings. The crackers will absorb moisture so the onions will stay crispy. Conventional Oven- If using oven, set on lowest temp. This is usually 170F. Keep oven cracked to lower temp further and leave in oven for 12-24 hours. If not concerned about keeping them "raw" , bake at 325 until crispy.
