I added more potatoes and kale to the original recipe, about double. I then substituted half and half for the heavy cream. This soup is divine. And just as good as Olive Garden if not better, if I do say so myself. 1 lb Hot Italian Sausage
4 large russet baking potatoes, sliced in half, and then in slices.
1 large onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 T chicken base
6 cups water
4 slices bacon, chopped
4 cups Kale, chopped
