Mashed Turnip with Vegan Gravy

Eat the turnip like mashed potato.

1 turnip
1 tablespoon chopped onion
1 chopped garlic clove
1 tablespoon soy sauce
½ tablespoon lemon juice
1 cup sliced button mushroom
2 tablespoon drinking water
Peel the turnip, then cut into chunks. Steam for 20 minutes or until cooked through and soft. While you are waiting for the turnip, use a blender to mix onion, garlic, soy sauce, lemon juice and button mushroom. Slowly add water to achieve desired consistency. When turnip is ready, let it cool a little, then use a spoon to mash it. Pour sauce over the turnip and garnish with chopped green onions or cilantro.
