Old Town Malay Curry Noodles (Laksa)

Curry noodle, in Malay “laksa”, is the most popular pastry in Malaysia. With strong flavoured Malay curry with thick coconut milk, laksa is a true comfort dish for all seasons. The side ingredients going with the noodle are variant, but basically there is seafood like fish cake or shellfish; deep fried tofu; and vegetables like mungbean sprout, long bean and eggplant.

14 oz. egg noodles
4 oz. fish cakes
8 deep fried tofu (3 oz. before frying)
1 oz. mungbean sprout
3 oz. eggplant
3 oz. long bean
5 oz. laksa paste
3 oz. coconut milk
1/8 oz. garlic
1/8 oz. green onion (dried)
1 tsp. vegetable oil
