Peanut Sesame Chikki or Bars or Brittles are healthy and delicious, crunchy no bake bars that can be prepared in less than 30 minutes. As they travel well, they are perfect for satisfying your snack cravings and act as energy boosters when you are on the move.

Honey / Agave nectar – 2 tbsp
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Sugar – 1/2 cup
Toasted sesame seeds – 1/2 cup
Roasted peanuts – 1/2 cup
Salt – 1/4 tsp
Butter or Oil for greasing

Marinated Taro Root

A marinated snack that can be used to replace late night bad habit cravings!

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
