Prawns with Tamarind Sauce (Goong Makham)

Most fast and simple as a course for a feast! The traditional cuisine is mostly free of added oil, except that deep fried shallots, garlic and large red chili peppers are used for decoration. Our homemade version makes this dish totally oil-free. The dish gets rich flavor from the tamarind based sauce, thus being oil-free will not reduce its delicacy!

12 ounces prawn
1?2 cup palm sugar
1/2 ounce tamarind (paste or brick)
3 tablespoons fish sauce
1?2 teaspoon ground white pepper
2 head large red chilies
1/2 ounce chives
1 ounce garlic
