Roasted Red Pepper and Garlic Tomato Sauce

Healthy vegan pasta sauce.

3 large tomatoes roughly chopped
1 large red pepper roughly chopped
3 cloves garlic halved and peeled
1 jalapeno roughly chopped
1/2 large onion roughly chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 cup fresh basil
5.5 oz can tomato paste
salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Put tomatoes, red pepper, garlic, onions, and jalapeno's on a pan. Toss with olive oil. Roast for 20 minutes. Transfer vegetables to a food processor or blender with basil....
