1 can rotel with green chile (or 8 oz fresh tomatoes blended with 1 seedless green chile)
1/2 onion, chopped
1 bunch of cilantro, divided
1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
2 large sweet potatoes
2 cloves garlic
1 pinch salt
1 pinch black pepper
1/8 teaspoon cumin
12 medium corn tortillas
1/2 teaspoon butter or vegetable oil
1 box toothpicks
