The Creative Salsa Recipe

Chips and salsa... weakness. A good salsa is the perfect way to start a meal. But some of the meals just want to end with chips and salsa, because I just can't stop eating them. Chips just become a vehicle at that point to get more of the amazing salsa. So chip after chip, it seems I can never get enough. So, here's a salsa recipe to try.

1 can (28 oz) whole tomatoes with juice
2 cans Rotel tomatoes (diced tomatoes and green chilis)
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cloves minced garlic
1 jalapeño pepper, quartered and sliced thin
1/4 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 teaspoon cumin
1/4 tsp chili powder
1/4 cup fresh cilantro
2 small limes or 1 large lime juiced
Throw all ingredients into a blender or food processor. Pulse or blend until you get the consistency of the salsa you like best. Refrigerate one hour then serve. and ENJOY!!!!
