Tomatillo Avocado Salsa

Wonderful summer salsa, lighter than guacamole, but with that lush avocado feel.

4 tomatillos
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup cilantro
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp salt
1/2 lime juice
1 avocado

jalapeno to taste
Hull and cut up tomatillos into thirds. Put them in a blender or food possessor with cilantro, garlic, salt, lime and water (add up to two jalapenos if you like it spicy). Blend until mostly pureed. Next add the avocado and blend until smooth. This sauce is great on fajitas, tacos, or quesadillas and as a dip for tortilla chips! Perfect for a summer appetizer.
