Chocolate Apple Jello with Raspberry Sauce

Made from apple chunks and not from juice, this jello is firm. The bright reddish raspberry sauce balances out the chocolate color of the apple jello.

2 cup chopped apple
1 tablespoon cacao powder
2 tablespoon water
2 teaspoon agar agar
4 ounces raspberries
1½ tablespoon sugar
To make jello: In a blender, puree apple with cacao powder and water. Add agar agar, cook over low heat for 3 minutes, stirring until sticky. Pour into 2 containers and refrigerate until set. To make raspberry sauce: Puree raspberry in a blender. Add sugar, cook in a small pan over low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring. To serve: Turn out jello to a serving plate, top with raspberry sauce.
