Crock Pot Skinny Caramel Apple Oats

All the taste of caramel apple pie in an easy, totally guilt free breakfast that is perfect for fall mornings. Can be gluten free and vegan.

6 small apples (or 3-4 large apples), diced
1 1/2 cups of rolled oats (I used gluten free oats from Bob’s Red Mill)
2 cups of skim milk (for vegans use soy or nut milk)
3 tablespoons of honey (to go vegan use maple syrup)
1 cup of apple cider (I used sugar free cider)
2 tablespoons of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon of ginger
sprinkle of salt
