Cake Simple And Delicious Steamed Apem

1 teaspoon salt
1 packet instant yeast 11 grams ( can use only 8 grams )
100 grams of corn starch or tapioca
100 grams of grated coconut , then steamed with salt
275 grams of sugar
400 ml coconut milk ( equivalent to 1 can coconut milk liquid )
500 ml warm water
500 grams of rice flour
Red and green food coloring ( according to taste )
First of all , thawed using instant yeast 30 ml warm water and added with 1 teaspoon sugar . Combine coconut milk with sugar and then simmer until dissolved . Mix tapioca flour , rice flour , liquid yeast, and water , then knead for 10 minutes . Add coconut milk and stir until dough evenly . Rest the dough more or less let stand for 1 hour until the dough expands to twice of the previous batter . Divide the dough into 3 parts , then give only one color in each section ( without color , red, and green) . Pour into small bowl , while steamer heat until the water boils . Insert bowl already containing the dough into the steamer , and steam for approximately 15 minutes until cooked . Remove and serve with grated coconut using .
