How to fry fish fillet? Try this simple and easy fried fish fillet recipe with sweet and sour hot sauce. Fried fish fillet are kids favorite finger food as it does not contain fish bones and easy to chew. White Cod fish has the least fish bones or you could try Garoupa fish slices. Non fish odor plus sweet and sour sauce that is mild spicy suits kids and old folks taste buds. Reduce chilli sauce to 1tsp and add in fresh chopped tomato to reduce the hot sauce.

300g (10 ounce ) fish fillets
2 cloves garlic - chopped
1/2 medium onion-chopped
1 egg white
corn flour for coating
1 sprig parsley

Marinade:
salt and pepper
a pinch of sugar
1 tsp ginger sauce
1 tsp Cooking wine (Worchestire wine )

Sauce:
1 tbsp chilli sauce
1 tbsp tomato sauce
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp vinegar
5 tbsp water

Corn flour solution: (mix together)
1 tsp corn flour
2 tbsp water
Step by step cooking method: Wash fish fillet and pat dry. Cut into convenient size that you desire. I prefer rectangles that resembles chicken nuggets. Marinate with ingredients for 15 minutes. Dip each fish fillets into egg white and then coat with corn flour on both sides. Heat up wok with sufficient oil. Deep fry coated fish fillets until golden brown. Remove and set aside for later use. Heat up wok wit 1 tsp of oil. Saute chopped garlic and onions until fragrant. Fold in sauce ingredients and simmer it with corn flour diluted solution. Turn off heat when sauce starts to thickens. Throw in the fried fillets. Coat them well with the sweet and sour hot sauce. Dish up to a flat plate. Garnish with chopped Chinese parsley. Serve warm with white rice or as main course dish. Decorate fried fillets on a flat plate. Pour sweet and sour hot sauce over the fillets. Serve hot immediately.
