Sesame Ginger Congee

Ginger is very good for the morning and adds a wonderful flavor to plain congee.

1/3 cup mixed rice
3½ cup water
1 tablespoon shredded ginger
½ teaspoon sesame oil
¼ teaspoon salt
Put rice and water in a slow cooker. Add sesame oil, salt and ginger, soak for 2 hours. Cook high for 4 hours. Add water in between if getting dry.
