Ginger Mint Lemonade

A refreshing and tasty lemonade alternative.

4 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup agave nectar (or 3/4 cup sugar)
6 slices fresh ginger
25 sprigs mint
1 cup fresh lemon juice
1/3 cup cranberry juice, chilled

1/2 cup agave nectar (or 3/4 cup sugar)
6 slices fresh ginger
25 sprigs mint
1 cup fresh lemon juice
1/3 cup cranberry juice, chilled

In a large saucepan add the water, agave nectar and ginger slices and 8 sprigs of mint and stir.
Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.
Remove the ginger and mint, transfer to a pitcher.
