A delicious homemade green chili enchilada sauce. And easy to make too!

9 Anaheim chili peppers-roasted and diced
2 tsp. butter
2 tsp. olive oil
? onion–diced
½ jalapeno–diced
2 clove garlic–minced
4 Tbsp. flour
2½ cups chicken broth
¼ tsp. oregano (heaping)
¼ tsp. cumin (heaping)
salt and pepper to taste
? cup fresh cilantro

1 T sugar
2 t fresh thyme leaves
1 dried bay leaf
