homemade low sugar licorice

So I love twizzlers candy, but its so full of carbs and sugar, here's my recipe thats healthy and low sugar but still super yummy!

To make this sugar-free licorice, combine seven packets of sugar free strawberry gelatin powder and 3/4 of a cup of sugar substitute in a coated nonstick saucepan. Add 1/2 a cup of cold water and stir until the mixture is semisolid and spongy. Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir until the mixture is melted. The consistency should be similar to thick maple syrup or molasses.
