This sweet soup is a very popular dish in Vietnam. It is light, easy to eat, and is very good to your health. Like the Chinese, we believe in the yin-yang philosophy in food. During the hot months of summer, mung bean and lotus seeds are cool ingredients (yin) that will helps cools down your hot body (yang).

60g hulled mung beans/yellow mung beans
50g lotus seed
Sugar (to taste)
500ml water
