The colors of the fresh seasonal produce in this Red, White & Blueberry Salad with Maple Balsamic Vinaigrette are perfect for any July 4th celebration. With contrasting flavors and textures from sweet berries, crunchy almonds, and creamy, salty cheese, this potluck favorite will set off fireworks in your mouth!

For the Salad:
4-6 cups mixed salad greens
1 cup sliced strawberries
1 cup blueberries
3 ounces crumbled blue cheese (feta or goat cheese would also work well)
¼ cup sliced almonds, toasted
For the Dressing:
1 teaspoon ground mustard
½ teaspoon dried basil (or 1 tablespoon fresh basil, minced)
2 tablespoons maple syrup
3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 garlic clove, minced
½ cup extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
