Vegan Chili

A simple chili that is flavorful, but very family friendly.

1 medium onion
2 cloves garlic
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes (undrained)
1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
2 cans (15 oz) red kidney beans
1 can (15 oz) cannellini beans
3 tablespoons chili powder
1 1/2 tsp cumin
salt and pepper to taste
1. Mix all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat. 2. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 min, stirring occasionally, until desired thickness.
