Brussels Sprout & Sweet Potato Bacon Saute

This hearty, healthy vegetable dish will have you singing sweet songs of joy this Fall - been there, done it.

2 slices center-cut bacon, cooked and sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 sweet onion, chopped
1 small sweet potato, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1 turnip, chopped
1/2 pound brussels sprouts, halved
salt and pepper, to taste
