Mushroom & Pinto Bean Burger Recipe

Finally! A bean burger recipe that doesn’t call for soy, nut, seeds or a ton of fat. Mushrooms provide an irreplaceable heartiness and carrots add nutrition. Make a few batches then keep uneaten ones in the freezer for a quick meal.

1 medium carrot, roughly chopped
3 oz. fresh mushrooms, roughly chopped
1/2 c flour (I used homemade soy flour)
4 c cooked pinto beans (I sprouted and cooked my own)
1 tbsp dry parsley
1 tsp oregano
3/4 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp mustard powder
1/2 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/4 tsp black pepper
