Easy and Delicious Sushi Rolls

Delicious sushi rolls are perhaps the ultimate Japanese food. The history of sushi dates back to ancient times, where it is surrounded by legends and folklore. But sushi isn't just an ancient food. Sushi making is constantly evolving across the globe even today.

Here's a quick tip if you don't have a sushi bamboo mat; you can use a clean tea towel to carefully roll the sushi and voila! You can get the same result. Just don't press too hard when rolling.

4 oz crab meat sticks
3 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp lemon juice
4 nori sheets
4 cups cooked sushi rice
1 tsp wasabi paste
1 peeled avocado
1 oz cabbage

Creamy Coconut and Crab Soup

Fresh, sweet crab is available in any season. You can often buy crab that is already cooked and cleaned but nothing beats freshly cooked crab at your home. Cooking crab is just as easy as cooking dry pasta. You just need salt, boiling water and patience. It takes just 10 minutes and voila, you can eat sweet, fresh crabs. You'll love this creamy soup recipe.

2 tbsp sunflower oil
2 cloves garlic
1 thumb-sized ginger
1 lemongrass stalk
1 lb crabs
1/2 lb medium-sized shrimps
1 cup coconut milk
1 ounces spring onions
2 tbsp smoked paprika

Chicken and Apples are indeed an uncommon combination, however, the pairing creates a cohesive flavor that can fill your hunger pangs. You can also add some spices such as nutmeg and a touch of cinnamon to spice up this dish even more. Adding a teaspoon of lemon juice creates a zing and adds freshness too. raw-carrot-bliss-balls

1 cup grated carrots
1 cup fresh shredded coconut
6 dates soaked in water for half hour ( about 70g )
1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
1/2 teaspoon cardamom seeds ( pounded )
1/2 cup desiccated coconut ( optional )
2 -3 people (makes about 12 balls)

Combine all the ingredients in a food processor. Process briefly until well mixed, for one minute or so.

Roll carrot mixture into balls. Optionally roll balls in desiccated coconut.
